DescriptionPaper and cloth covered vamp embroidered with gitl-silver wire and spangles and red and green glass beads in motif of circle containing, "XX;" fleur-de-lis formed at throat; pink cotton(?) covered quarters; butted backseam. Long pointed toe solidly embroidered with gilt-silver yarns in herringbone pattern on top, embroidered with gilt-silver wire and spangles in motif of flower in circle on bottom with gilt-silver bound cord at edges. Brown leather sole with flat stacked leather heel. Leather insole, lining. Turnshoe construction. Condition: tarnished and worn, some embroidery missing.
