DescriptionThis shoe is fashioned of reddish leather with black leather trim around the opening that extends over the toe portion as a scroll ornament. Though there is some suffing and cracking of the surfaces, the shoe is in good condition.
ProvenanceFrom Qarara. 1903: excavated by the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the EEF in the division of finds by the Egyptian government; 1903: voted to the MFA at EEF general meeting; August 27, 1903: received by the MFA.
