DescriptionShort globular shouldered jar with modeled, rolled rim and flat base: reassembled from sherds and complete. The jar was made on the wheel. The exterior of the vessel was covered in a red slip and possibly burnished. G 1201/1 written on the pot.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, G 1201/1 . 19: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
