Conical body of two pieces of hollowed-out dark wood with cylindrical section at embouchure end. Rectangular-shaped embouchure hole. Bell wrapped with several strands of thin twined plant fiber and fewer larger braided strands. Two large braided strands tied longitudinally along each side of embouchure hole, with fragments of feathers at upper ends. Wrappings of black plant fiber (?) in zigzag pattern just above and below embouchure hole. Projecting from twined wrapping at embouchure end are tufts of black animal hair. Short carrying loop of braided twine tied at embouchure end.
