Obverse: Bust of Chantrey looking to proper left; inscribed at edge “CHANTREY SCULPTOR ET ARTIUM FAUTOR” and under bust “[ ]:WYON.R:V.FEC:”.
Reverse: Man seated at center using a compass on paper; inscribed on base “WATT”, at proper left “W.WYON R:A.FEC.1846”, and in exergue “FRANCISCI CHANTREY/OPUS”.
