Skirt made of six vertical panels seamed together, two of the seams having pink silk bands between the panels, and sewn to plain upper zone of four vertical panels, all plain woven linen. Row of cocks embroidered along the hem in polychrome silks and gilt silver thread in mainly double darning stitch. Small scallops in buttonhole stitch at lower edge. Linen browned and some of the seaming has come out. Some of the black yarns rotted out and gilt yarns tarnished and worn. Silks faded. Washed: 25vi74
