Ground: dark woolen cloth. Design: a narrow border across one end and along one side made up of angular elongated cats of various sizes fitting into each other, the cats are blue and yellow, the ground of the border pink. A fringe of pink blue and yellow edges the embroidery on the side. Fringed tapes probably used to keep the shawl in place by their weight.
