DescriptionThis tall chair has five graduated slats between heavy posts that are 1 13/16 in. in diameter. The posts have ring turnings of rounded outline and vase finials, capped with flattened balls. The front legs have similar ring turnings, and an indentation to form the elongated button foot. The double front and side stretchers are "sausage" turned, while the rear stretcher is plain. The old seat is painted rush.
