DescriptionThis slender ovoid jar has a rounded base, a straight neck, and flaring straight rim with slight blackening. The exterior was treated with a red slip that has been polished.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery B, grave 21. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
