This slender jar has an ovoid (almost bag-shaped) body that narrows considerably at the top. The base is rounded. The neck (if this vessel had one) and rim have broken off and are missing.
From Kerma, Cemetery B, grave 21. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
