DescriptionThis slender jar has nearly straight sides and a rounded, shaved base that almost comes to a rounded point. The upper body narrows very slightly before ending in a wide mouth with a straight rim. The uppermost portion has broken off. Some fragments remain, and some portions are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus III, grave 332. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
