This slender jar has nearly straight sides and a rounded base. The upper body narrows gradually to a thin straight rim. Small areas of the upper body and rim have broken off and are missing.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1400A, East of chapel. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
