This bag-shaped jar of orange-red clay has a rounded base, very slight neck, and outwardly pulled rim. Three unevenly spaced, irregular, wide incised lines have been added the upper portion of the jar.

Provenance

From Kerma, Cemetery B, grave 28. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
