This small deep bowl is fashioned of a reddish clay fabric. It has a flat base with generally straight sides that flare outwards to a straight rim.

Provenance

From el-Kurru, pyramid 1 (tomb of unknown king), SW foundation deposit. 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
