This small globular jar is made of a buff-colored marl clay. It approaches squat proportions. It has a rounded base, a short straight neck, and a rolled rim.

Provenance

From Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus III, grave 317. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
