This small jar is made of a reddish clay fabric. It has a squat globular body with a rough, rounded base, a straight cylindrical neck, and slightly modeled rim. The rim is chipped, but it is in otherwise intact condition.

Provenance

From Nuri, Pyramid 19 (tomb of Nasakhma), SW foundation deposit. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
