Small ovoid jar with round, modeled rim, short tubular neck, and pointed base: complete. The jar exhibits no surface treatment. The vessel was coil made, with a pointed base, and hand turned from the shoulder up. The bottom exterior half was scraped upwards into its pointed shape. It was unevenly fired.
From Giza, Menkaura Valley Temple (MVT sub 318,no. 22). 1909: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
