This miniature jar has a squat shouldered body with a flat base, a concave neck, and an outwardly pulled rim. It is fashioned of blackware with small traces on the exterior of black polished surface treatment, the majority of which has worn away.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1058. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
