This small jar is fashioned of a red to black pottery fabric. It has a squat globular body with a rough rounded base, a short neck, and a wide mouth with straight rim. It is in cracked condition, but complete.
From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, Building 100. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
