This small squat jar has a very sharp point of inflection at its maximum width. The base is rounded. It has a very short constricted neck with an everted rim. The exterior has been treated with a red slip and burnished/polished.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, Tumulus III, grave 323. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
