This small squat jar has a rounded base, a concave neck, and an everted rim. The exterior shows traces of having been treated with a red slip and burnished/polished, though surface treatments have worn considerably.
From Kerma, Cemetery nS, 442. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
