This small squat jar is fashioned of a buff-colored marl clay. It has a rounded base and a sharp curve at its widest point. The rim is slightly pulled around a wide mouth.

Provenance

From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave IV-B. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
