DescriptionRectangular, cisele in three-tone floral decoration in scroll panels on six surfaces; rubies and diamonds in raised silver clasp. Gift inscription of 1843 in cover.
Marks Marks in cover and box: maker's, charge, and date letter; on bezel; discharge (Eloi Brichard) and twice-stamped eagle's head of 1838; incuse "546" on left bezel near hinge.

Beveridge (b. 1881 - d. 1970), Beverly Farms, MA; 1948, gift of Mrs. Beveridge to the MFA. (Accession Date: December 9, 1948)
