DescriptionWarp: wool. Weft: wool. Pile: wool. Turkish knots, 30 to 1 decimeter, or 7 to 1 inch (horizontal); 31 to 1 decimeter, or 9 to 1 inch (vertical). Design: large palmettes and elongated leaf-like forms, possibly derived from dragons. Colors: ground once black, pile almost all gone, warp and weft stained dark brown; other colors blue, red, orange, green, and cream white. Poor condition, ragged fringe.
