The forged spoon has a faceted stem and an elongated bowl. The openwork finial is formed from flat wires that support a piece of mother-of-pearl in a silver bezel.

Markings

On back of handle, maker's mark GofHLtd (Culme 6085); lion passant; leopard's head; date letter h.
