DescriptionSquare cover. A central medallion of a stylized circular floral motif within a continuous stalk. Around this are open motives loosely spaced; in each corner angled towards the center, alternately, buta and tulip motives in the form of slim stalks with simple leaves and curling offshoots. Between those are four simple buta with curling leafy stalk motifs. Border of repeating detached similar curved stalks with leaves. Edged by a narrow band of chain stitch. Polychrome silk yarns in chain stitch on a tan cotton twill ground. Slightly worn and discolored. Lakai-style chain stitch.
