One of a set of four shaped square dishes with molded rims and an engraved crest in the center. Engraved with FC and stamped with CV on the underside of therim.

Markings

Maker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, NCV, a pearl (incomplete) (Nocq, p. 82). Warden's Mark: 1757-1758: a crowned R (Dennis, 36). Charge Mark: for large work, 1756-1762: a crowned A (Dennis, 36).
