DescriptionCombination of crossed warp and weft silk stripes and tie dyed warp, check and stripes formed by warp and weft with the borders also tie dyed in flame pattern, colors: blue, pink, orange, and green, lined with green and white cotton, green border cut in a jagged line and four green birds appliquéd to white cotton center. Ikat worn in Aleppo. Use is possibly a wrapping cloth (bochka) or "sofra" (eating cloth). Armenian "kilis work".
