DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of natural colored linen; design in plum colored wool, center gone. Design surrounding the missing central area shows undulating branches (scroll motif) forming circular areas that enclose single fruits and flowers, of which some are pomegranates, trefoil flowers, vine leaves and pine-cone-like motifs. Design shows Roman influence.
