DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained. It is colored blue-green. It has a somewhat thickly worked rim. The surface is well polished. The base is rounded, and the rim is rolled and everted. There is some minor cracking. Otherwise, it is intact.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
