DescriptionThe stone is greenish-black and white. Handles are modeled on the shoulders. The base is rounded, and the rim is flattened and everted. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Menkaura) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
