DescriptionThe stone is colored greenish-white and black. The rim is flattened and everted. Handles are modeled on the shoulders. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
