It is unfinished and heavy. Handles are modeled on the shoulders. The base is flat, and the rim is flattened and everted. It is broken and mended. A portion of the jar is missing.

From Zawyet el-Aryan, Z 500. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
