This jar has squat proportions. It has a rounded base with widening sides topped by high-set shoulders. A narrow neck culminates with a straight rim with slight outward pull. The exterior has small patches of white incrustations. There are traces of black polishing. The jar is intact.

From Nubia (Sudan) Gebel Barkal, Building B 500-A. 1916: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
