DescriptionThis engraving was published in both editions of Alessandro da Morrona, Pisa illustrata nelle Arti del Disegno, published in 1787 and 1812. According to Hind, no contemporary impressions are known. According to Morrona, the engraving was on the recto of the copper plate that bore the image of The Inferno According to Dante (MFA accession number P973).
