DescriptionLong, straight staff now broken into three parts. It is made from a light-colored wood, that is smoothed, stripped of bark, and undecorated. The top of the staff is rounded, while the bottom is squared. There are slight cracks and water stains throughout the shaft of the staff.
ProvenanceFrom Sheikh Farag (tomb SF 5105D), Egypt; 1923: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
