DescriptionNine silver, cylindrical objects, each with a spike on the inside. These objects were likely the bases for wooden staves that are now lost.
ProvenanceFrom Nuri, pyramid 1 (tomb of Taharqa). 1917: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
