DescriptionThe elliptical stand is formed from sheet with an applied molded border. It has a shaped outline and rests on short reeded feet. Around the perimeter of the molded border is a band of pounced and bright-cut ornament. An oval in the center encloses the engraved coat of arms.
Marks On underside, maker's mark HB (Grimwade 961); sovereign's head; date letter o; leopard's head crowned; lion passant.
InscriptionsEngraved in center, an unidentified crest (a demilion rampant, ducally crowned)
