This brooch is in the form of a farmer teddy bear who stands holding a bucket and a rake. Most of the piece is cast while the stones in the upper legs and tynes of the rake are individually set to move flexibly. The front surface is covered in prong held rhinestones. The overalls are blue; his shirt and mouth red; the bucket and boots, eyes and nose are black, and the bear’s head, hands, and rake are white.

A small circular tab on the reverse of the head has a raised block letter "B & W."
