Obverse: Head of Persephone to left with wreath of grain leaves, triple earring and pearl necklace.
Reverse: Nude warrior (Ajax) striding to right on rough ground, a crested Corinthian helmet on his head, a sword in lowered right hand, and shield with nailed border, palmette and lion on left arm.
On the ground are a spear and a helmet in the form of a high cap.
Inscription in Greek at left and right.
