White silk taffeta ground, decorated with alternating wide and narrow stripes. Wide stripes filled with horizontal lines of pink and silver tinsel and polychrome sprays of flowers; bordered by narrow gold stripes. Narrow stripes show undulating lines of polychrome flowers on white ground. Sleeved bodice has wide peplum; laces up back. Skirt has curved waist and hem. Mantel has straight top, tapering to long, rounded point; slit partway down center, at right angles to straight edge. All three pieces trimmed with passementerie made of gold and silver lace; narrow, corrugated tinsel ribbons, beads and flowers; and artificial pearls.
