Limestone. Seated figure of Ankh-Isessy on block seat. Remains of reddish brown paint on front and legs of figure, black paint on seat base and wig. Proper right side of seat inscribed with hieroglyphs Isessy in cartouche and ankh Isesy-Ankh. Accesion card says ” Face battered, In three fragments but practically complete,” now restored.

From Giza, Serdab of G 4410, chapel, room 2 serdab 1. 1915:excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt; accession date 1921.
