DescriptionBronze; with long beard and headdress; right arm raised holding one end of long spear or staff, other end of which is held in left hand, at right angles to body. Very finely incised details on long robe. Badly patinated. On original wooden base.
ProvenanceNaga el-Mashayikh, (Mesheikh) tomb 501. 1912: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds with the Egyptian government.
