Basalt (?) statuette of Ptah. The lower part of the statuette is broken. Ptah wears a cap, broad collar, and beard. He holds a staff. The goddess Maat is on the back. She surrounds Ptah with her wings.

Provenance

Said to be from Thebes (Karnak). 1903: purchased for the MFA from Mohamed Mohassib, Luxor, Egypt by Albert M. Lythgoe for £1/10s. (Accession Date: January 1, 1903)
