Ecclesiastical Costume. Epitrachelion. Ornate cross with stylized leaves and flanked by Greek letters abbreviating the phrase “Jesus Christ Conquers,” alternately repeating with a floral spray in a lattice basket. Metal strips, metallic and silk yarns on a red satin-silk ground. Metallic tape border, silk and metallic yarn bottom fringe. Pendants sewn together leaving head opening. Ground worn through in several areas; some yarns missing.
