DescriptionEmbroidered stomacher of corded silk, once white, now light brown with age, design of undulating flowering vine, embroidered in satin stitch, split stitch with several shades of pink, green, blue, yellow sikl, and tarnished metal thread, the center of the largest flower in raised needle weaving, remains of gold braid trimming, plain bands of silk on sides of the stomacher, worn and patched, lutestring lining full of holes.
