This cup is fashioned of a dark redware fabric. It has a rounded base with a slight point, straight sides that narrow towards the top, and a straight rim. It has been treated with a red wash. It is broken with some pieces missing.

Provenance

From Nuri, Pyramid 30 (tomb of a queen?). 1917-1918: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
