The spoon is forged from a single piece of silver and has an oval bowl, a rat tail, a flattened stem, and a ribbed hanoverian terminus. The bowl is worn and pitted.
Engraved on the back of the end of the handle, "A * B / S : F".
On the back of steam, maker's mark EH (Grimwade 594); leopard's head crowned; lion passant; date letter L
