This small slender jar has a rounded base, almost straight sides that narrow slightly in the upper body, and a thin straight rim. The exterior has traces of a red wash.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 421. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
