DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained and wavy-lined with horizontal narrow bands of white. The rim is modeled at the top. The base is flat, and the rim is rolled and everted. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
